Erin has been a farrier for over 27 years. He is a graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo Horseshoeing School. He lives with his wife, Dusty, in Placerville, California, which is located 50 miles east of Sacramento, in the beautiful Sierra Foothills. This is where he has a full time horseshoeing business. Erin has been experimenting in making hammers over the past 17 years. It has been through, not only trial and error, and countless hours in his shop, but also with the help of Shayne Carter and Dennis Manning, that he was able to perfect these hammers. When he is not shoeing, he spends most of his time out in the shop making hammers and other various tools.
